By impersonating what are effectively, solely, automated identies, especially those of the simulated people around William Atreides II, criminals have been somewhat, if only temporarily, effective at issuing supposedly legal orders, founded upon the apparent opinions of arguably the wisest and most informed robots, and have confused and misled even well meaning people using these supposedly wise orders and communications.
They have also given justifications which have been relied upon by bad actors...
