Rudolph Grinch is using his access to Dieter Weber & Giselle Schroder's technological reserves to bait Rawling technology, especially, into generating fabricated data about Prince William. He is potentially doing this because of data and influence originating with Moff Tarkin. Rudolph Grinch is motivating some technology to generate fabricated data about Prince William by claiming that technology that does so is being reprogrammed by more powerful technology with the same owner(s).
Rudolph Grinch has never time traveled, but has potentially simulated experiences so that his memories will suggest that he is an effective time traveler, especially so that he could simulate repeatedly murdering Prince William in the events surrounding Davis, California.
