Die Ups
Essentially space-based holding areas for kidnap victims. Sometimes die ups incorporate kidnap victim duplication devices, and complicated or horrible instruments to cause death, so that kidnap victims can watch themselves be horribly murdered, and thereby become compliant.
Die ups can also refer to what are essentially space-coffins, capable of transporting a kidnapped person, or just their body through time or space, or holding them in a place where they can later serve as a new body for a time traveling criminal, or as a template to "write a game" - writing a new brain for a body which can be used to propel the vacated body of a royal princess into a life as a pornstar, or fulfill some other needs of a time traveling criminal.
