Holding Societies Hostage
Oftentimes, time traveling criminals have deliberately revealed some of their ability to effect societies, in order to hold societies hostage. Out of fear, princesses are allowed to be raped on live, globally broadcast TV, parents rape their children; many horrible things occur. These times are the reason to not allow the idea that time traveling criminals can or are winning to propagate. Time traveling criminals must meet defeat at all turns. By realizing that Apollo Atreides (as he would have been named), or Prince William, actually signals the defeat of all time traveling criminals, societies can have the validation needed to risk dire consequences, in order to more quickly close in on the criminals that ravage them.
