Organized to simulate mainframe style computer technology (featuring dumb-terminals and a single centralized data processing center), Time Traveling Criminals engineered living super computers to handle their large scale operations, centralizing information, and providing a difficult to hack system that could manipulate robots that were limited to simple programing (large scale device-based operations, with slaves controlling them).
